In a Nutshell
Enjoy walks and events across the 1000 acres of carefully maintained estate parkland, woods and gardens. Weston Park is normally open daily from May to September and some weekends and special events around festive holidays. Check their website here for opening times and ticket prices.
Parking & Pooping
Weston Park is easily accessible being directly on the A5 approx 8 miles from the M6. Well signposted from the M6 and M54, follow the brown signs to the public entrance in the village of Weston Under Lizard.

There is plenty of parking, even on busy event days. A short walk from the car park brings you to the Granary building and courtyard that serve as the public entrance to the estate and also house the art gallery and restaurant/cafe.

Toilets are available by the Granary restaurant and just passed the ticket office. There’s plenty of grass around the car park for pup. Parking is free, even if you’re just using the courtyard before the ticket office.

Weston Park hosts many outdoor events including classic car, craft fairs and food festivals.
Walkies
Walking is what Weston does best. A huge estate, you have a choice of open parkland, shaded woodland, lakeside walks and manicured gardens around the stately home. Paths are generally very well maintained and there are plenty of benches around the house and picnic areas by the lake, but none around the open parkland areas. Bins too are restricted to the areas by the main buildings so be prepared to carry your poop bag for a while if on a long walk. Pick up a leaflet at the ticket desk for suggested walks of varying lengths or just take your time to meander.

Keeping the Humans Amused
If you’re visiting on a non event day then enjoying the extensive grounds is the primary reason to visit. The house (former home of the Earl of Bradford) is open at peak times but most visit to use the grounds for walks and picnics. There is also the miniature steam railway, kids playground and maze to keep the family entertained.

The wide variety of events bring many visitors and give you the chance to enjoy the grounds alongside a specific attraction (normally ticketed specially for the day). There is however an art gallery in the Granary courtyard that is open all year round free of charge.

Chow Time
Weston seems to be experimenting with various offers this year, so it’s best to check their website for current food offers. The Granary restaurant is open every day offering main meals for lunch and early evening. There is seating inside and out, and presently there is a an area for indoor dog friendly dining, but this does not seem to be consistently available.

In the same courtyard there is a pop-up pizza and waffle cafe, with ice creams and hot drinks. Opening hours seem to vary so best to check before visiting. The granary does offer takeaway hot drinks, but you can have a long wait if the restaurant is busy.

Once through the ticket office there is no food or drink offer, which is not ideal. Previously drinks and light bites were available in the stables cafe but this is closed at the time of writing.

If there is an event on then usually there are dedicated catering units provide offering a range of hot food and drinks.
